Day 2 of our trip was a visit to Moody Gardens - http://www.moodygardens.com/ - the aquatic based theme park in Galveston. In retrospect I think we were a few years too late as our daughter at 14 is a little too mature for most of the attractions at the park. The aquarium is one of the best I have seen and we did enjoy it. So did most everyone.

The views of the fish and turtles were great.

Later that day I got down to the Strand again.
